BJD Members meet party supremo demanding Expulsion of Damodar Rout

ONI Bureau:  Hundreds of BJD members from Balikuda & Erasama block of Jagatsinghpur district on Tuesday met BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik demanding expulsion of senior BJD leader Damodar Rout from the party over his alleged involvement in anti-party activities.

However, Patnaik assured party men to look into complaints demanding ouster of senior leader Damo Rout.

Earlier on Moday, BJD’s Jagatsinghpur district president Bishnu Das & party’s Balikuda-Erasama MLA Prashant Muduli met party supremo Naveen Patnaik alleging anti-party activities of senior leader Damo Rout. They demanded Rout’s dismissal from the party.

After Rs 100 crore Sapling Scam, to the tune Rs 30 crores Omfed Scam & 800 crore Cooperative Bank Loan Scam, Damo Rout yesterday alleged irregularities in Odisha Health Department.

The senior leader today said BJD is being run by four people – one officer and three MLAs Debasish Samantaray, Arun Sahoo and Pranab Prakash Das.

Launching back-to-back attacks, Damo further stated that he will continue his war against corruption.
