BJD MLA Pramod Mallick claims he was paraded by BJP Cadres

Pramod-Mallick-NialiThe poster war and power tussle between BJD and BJP was over after PM Modi dedicated the Paradip Oil Refinery to the nation. However, new videos emerged today, which exposed the ugly side of the battle that still continues unabated.

Leading TV channels OTV and Zee Kalinga broadcast a shocking video where BJD MLA from Niali, Dr. Pramod Mallick was seen walking on the road, wearing a BJP cap and scarf. He was surrounded by some youth, but looked unperturbed and walked around comfortably.

While Dr. Mallick, whose car was vandalised on that fateful day of February 7, has claimed that he was threatened and forced by the BJP workers to wear their party cap and scarf, the visuals do not confirm whether the people seen with Dr. Mallick are from the BJP or BJD.

Another video broadcast by Zee Kalinga, showed Cuttack-Barabati MLA Debasish Samantray approaching towards people with a stick (lathi) in his hand and threatening them in inaudible language. The BJP had earlier alleged that Minister Pranab Prakash Das, MLAs Debasish Samantray, Pravat Biswal and Dr. Pramod Mallick were trying to sabotage PM’s Paradip meeting.
