BJP sending Team to Cyclone-affected areas in Odisha

ONI Bureau:  Odisha BJP formed a 3 member committee to visit and review the cyclone and flood situation in Gajapati, Rayagada and Ganjam districts.

State General Secretary Bhrugu Baxipatra, Prithwiraj Harichandan and Vice President Sameer Mohanty will head the teams and will be assisted by Krushak Morcha, Yuva Morcha and OBC Morcha.

“Despite IMD forecast, State Govt failed to tackle Cyclone & subsequent flood situation in Odisha,” alleged BJP vice-president Samir Mohanty while accusing the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Govt of inefficiency.

“#Odisha Govt was under-prepared to handle the disaster, but was busy in creating hype with the hope that #CycloneTitli won’t make big impact and it would pat itself on the back. The “Zero Casualty” theory turned out to be a hollow claim. Govt is responsible for the casualties. Govt still has not been able to reach out to affected people and areas. Govt support literally absent in Gajapati district. Situation no different in Ganjam district too. SorryState of Affairs in #Odisha”, said Bhrugu Baxipatra Inna series of tweets.
