Congress announces new ticket policy for Odisha

ONI Bureau:  All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced new ticket policy for Odisha, informed Odisha PCC president Niranjan Patnaik today.

While announcing ticket policy of Congress, AICC Odisha in-charge Jitendra Singh said that as per the new policy, only one person from a family will get ticket and party tickets will not be issued on anybody’s recommendation.

According to its new norms, the person that were defeated in the last Assembly elections within 10 per cent margin of votes, are likely to be considered for tickets for 2019 polls. Many senior leaders of the party may be left out, if the Congress adopts such a policy, Niranjan Patnaik said earlier.
