Crime Branch arrested one in Land Fraud Case

Bhubaneswar, Sep 21: The Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of Crime branch arrested Pradipta Barik the Manager of Sainik Welfare Organisation Project in connection with land fraud case today.

The crime branch sleuths arrested Pradipta Barik of the organisation today from his residence today. According to reports, Barik allegedly cheat defence personnel and took around Rs 30 crore from them in pretext of providing land near Chandaka area here.

The sleuths were arrested developer Purna Chandra Panda of  managing director of Brookson Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, who also had collected money to the tune of around Rs 35 crore from defence personnel assuring them to provide land in Chandaka area.
