DGP KB Singh draws plan for security arrangements during Rath Yatra

The security arrangements have been reviewed by Director General of Police (DGP) KB Singh for the mega festival at Puri of Lord Jagannath.

They discussed on the key issues of security arrangements, traffic control and timely conduct of rituals.

131 platoons of the Odisha State Armed Police (OSAP) force would move into position to maintain law and order during this mega festival.

Senior police Officers have been given the specific responsibility for smooth conduct of the festival. The officers will work with proper coordination among themselves, said DGP.
