Dreaded Maoist Siba Reddy arrested by AP Police

Maoists OdishaMalkangiri, Oct 13: Siba Reddy, a top Maoist leader, was arrested by Andhra Pradesh police today near Ettapaku village. The injured ultra was under going treatment when he was arrested by the police from a house in the village. Acting on a tip-off from sources, police rush to the village and arrested the dreaded Maoist leader.

He was wanted in 70 serious cases and carrying a cash rewards of Rs 20 lakh on his head. Reddy was involved in many attacks in Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. He was actively involved in Motu police station attack in 2001. Police is interrogating the hardcore Maoist leader of Khammam division of CPI (Maoist) in Andhra Pradesh to extract information about the outfit and the members.
