ED gets 10-day Remand of AT Group Chief Pradeep Sethy

After being grilled by the CBI in connection with multi-crore chit fund scam, AT Group chief Pradeep Sethy now faces the ED heat. The Enforcement Directorate has obtained the 10-day remand of Pradeep Sethy to secure more information regarding the illegal financial transactions and money trail.

After getting the order from the Khordha District and Sessions Court yesterday, the ED took Sethy out of the Jharpada jail this morning to interrogate him further.

The ED may try to get further information on investments made AT Group in and outside Odisha and identify other influential people who facilitated the fraudulent operations of Pradeep Sethy’s company.
