Former Staff calls strike at IMFA’s Therubali Plant in Rayadaga

Rayagada, Nov 23: Former staff of Therubali plant called on strike here. They locked the main gate of the plant and sat on protest.

Due to strike, the production at Therubali plant of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) was hit. The former staffs of the plant were on strike demanding fulfillment of their three charters of demands. Meanwhile, the plant authorities have announced black out with effect from ‘A’ Shift on November 21, 2015.

The employees termed the strike by former staff of the plant as illegal. However, the plant authorities assured to take action over the issues of former staff as per the directive of Orissa High Court since these matters are sub judicious.
