Foundation stone of BPCL’s LPG Bottling Plant laid in Balangir

ONI Bureau:  The Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawar Chand Gehlot laid foundation stone of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)’s second LPG bottling plant in Balangir district on Monday.

The LPG bottling plant at Barkhani in Balangir district will cater LPG cylinders to the consumers of 14 districts in Western and South Odisha including Balangir, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Kalahandi, Sonepur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada and Nuapada districts.

The plant spread over 23 acres will have a bottling capacity of 42 lakh cylinders per year.

The LPG Bottling plant to be completed by March 2020, said Dharmendra Paradhan after laying foundation stone for the project.
