ONI Bureau: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik who has secured 30th rank in the ‘Indian Express Most Powerful Indians’ list published today, is also the ‘7th Most Powerful CM’.
While 18 Chief Ministers have figured in the list, Naveen is at 7th spot. It can be recalled that Naveen had got a poor 65th rank in the ‘IE Most Powerful Indians’ list last year.
Other Chief Ministers who rank higher than Naveen Patnaik this year, are Mamata Banerjee (West Bengal, 6th), Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh, 9th), Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh, 13th), Devendra Fadnavis (Maharashtra, 16th), Siddaramaiah (Karnataka, 19th) and Mehbooba Mufti (J&K, 26th).
Other Chief Ministers who find a place in the list are – Capt Amarinder Singh (Punjab, 31st), N Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh, 36), Pinarayi Vijayan (Kerala, 42nd), Nitish Kumar (Bihar, 49th), K Chandrashekar Rao (Telangana, 52nd), Vasundhara Raje (Rajasthan, 53rd), Dr. Raman Singh (Chhattisgarh, 54th), Manohar Lal Khattar (Haryana, 57th), Edappadi K Palaniswami (Tamil Nadu, 64th), Arvind Kejriwal (Delhi, 73rd) and Vijay Rupani (Gujarat, 76th).
