India test-fires Nuclear-capable Agni-V Missile off Odisha coast

ONI Bureau: India’s indigenously developed intercontinental surface-to-surface nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni-V was today successfully test-fired from launch pad no 4 of integrated test range (ITR) at the Abdul Kalam island off the Odisha coast.

Reportedly, Agni-V missile has a range of over 5,000 to to 5,800 kilometres and its firing range includes the whole of China.

Indigenously developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the missile capable of carrying nuclear warhead of about 1.5 tonnes.
