IPS Officer BK Sharma in trouble over attending Law Classes during Duty Hours

Centre has sought report from Odisha Home Department over Crime Branch Special DG BK Sharma’s law degree and managed to secure over 75-85% attendance while regularly attending office.

As per the complaint lodged by the RTI activist Jayant Das, Sharma has misused his power.

The top cop has allegedly pursued his law degree at the Utkal University of Law College in Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar from 2011 to 2014 during duty hours.

In response to the complaint, The Union Home Affairs Ministry has asked the State Home Department to inquire into the matter within 15 days and take necessary action accordingly.
