ISKCON clarifies about its Proposed Temple in Puri

ISKCONBhubaneswar, Jan 19: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has clarified about its proposed temple in Puri that the temple will be a Radha-Krishna Temple. The authorities of the organization clarified the temple would not have idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.

Over the proposed temple at Baliapanda, whose ground breaking ceremony was done on November 29, Odisha unit of the BJP demanded action from the state government. However, taking serious note over the issue of temple in Puri by ISKCON, Odisha Urban Development Minister Pushpendra Singhdeo has sought a report from District Collector and Puri Konark Development Authority over the proposed temple.
