Itishree Murder Case: CBI interrogates Former Odisha MP Jayaram Pangi

Former MP and BJD leader Jayaram Pangi was interrogated by the CBI over the sensational murder case of a school teacher Itishree Pradhan. He was asked to present for questioning by CBI at the Circuit House in Rayagada.

However, after being questioned for four hours with the investigating Officials, Jayaram dismissed all the reports of the interrogation.

The main accused in this case was former school inspector Netrananda Dandasena, who was sentenced to life imprisonment by Rayagada District and Sessions Court. He was closely connected to Pangi.

Itishree, a lady teacher at the Upper Primary School at Tikiri in Rayagada district was set afire by some unidentified miscreants in October 2014.
