Jaga meets Kalia first time after Surgery

ONI Bureau: For the first time after they were separated through a complex yet successful surgery, conjoined twins Jaga and Kalia met each other and spent time with their parents. Both the kids are fit and fine and their conditions have improved fast.

The twins were joined since birth and never saw each other’s face. But, thanks to the Doctors, they now see each other. Even Jaga touched Kalia’s face and had a smile, much to the delight of parents as well as the doctors at AIIMS, New Delhi.

The twins had undergone the second surgery on October 25 and 26. The first phase surgery to separate the twins was held on August 29. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik had sanctioned Rs 1 crore for their surgery and rehabilitation/recovery process.
