Kanha, with Rare Genetic Syndrome undergoes surgery at MKCG, Berhampur

ONI Bureau:  Kanha, a five-year-old boy with a rare genetic skin disorder called as ‘Werewolf Syndrome’ is being operated at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur today.

A preliminary laser and skin grafting surgery will be performed on the boy, as informed by Raju Das the HOD of Plastic Surgery at the Berhampur MKCG.

Coming from a poor rural background in Ganjam district, Kanha has been suffering from genetic skin disorder leading to excessive growth of hair and excess flab of flesh in his face.
