Marshaghai Block Chairperson hijacks Baijayant’s MPLADS Project

ONI Bureau: An under-construction overhead water tank, funded by the MPLADS of Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda, was inaugurated by Marshaghai Block Chairperson Sitalata Parida in haste!!!

The inauguration took place at Purusottampur village in Kendrapara district. The move is seen as a desperate attempt to stop Baijayant Panda from inaugurating the project and getting closer to people in his constituency.

The Marshaghai Block Chairman who forcibly hijacked the project along with her supporters, put up a volt face saying since Jay Panda has been suspended from the BJD now, he has lost the moral right to dedicate the project to masses.

Out of 57 Water Tank projects sanctioned under the MPLADS, Baijayant Panda has already inaugurated 12 (today’s is 13th). The remaining projects would be completed by February end.
