Naveen forms Ministerial Committee to oversee Relief Ops in Cyclone affected Districts

ONI Bureau:  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday constituted a Ministerial Committee to monitor the relief, rescue & restoration operations in the flood affected districts.

The panel comprising of Revenue Minister Maheshwar Mohanty, Water Resources Minister Niranjan Pujari and Energy Minister Sushanta Singh will visit the cyclone affected areas of Ganjam, Gajapati & Rayagada districts and review the relief, rescue & restoration operations.

Odisha Govt cancelled all leaves & Govt holidays of all offices in the state secretariat and heads of department offices to supervise relief & restoration works of cyclone Titli & subsequent flood.

Reportedly, all Govt offices under central & southern revenue division would remain open during the Puja vacation till October 24.
