Niranjan Patnaik seeks renaming of BJD, saying Biju Legacy is Over

ONI Bureau: Coming down heavily on Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and party President Naveen Patnaik, PCC President Niranjan Patnaik asked for renaming of the party after Naveen, as all leaders of Biju legacy are out of the party now.

“Although BJD has been ruling the State for the last 18 years in the name of Biju Babu, the party does not have his followers any more. It’s high time they rename the party after Naveen,” he said.

The Odisha Congress has sought a probe into all corruption allegations levelled by Dr. Damodar Rout, who was expelled from the party following his outburst.
