Odisha CM directs H&UD Dpt to improve Storm Water Drainage System

Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday asked the Housing and Urban Development Department to improve the drainage system and discharge of rainwater during the rainy season in Bhubaneswar.

Housing and Urban Development Minister Pushpendra Singhdeo told media persons that the CM has asked for a detailed project report (DPR) on the storm water drainage system and to complete the proposed waste management projects before monsoon season.

Giving emphasis to affordable housing & urban infrastructure, he has asked H&UD Department to properly look after the activities of their department and minutely examine implementation of all the programmes.
