Odisha CM orders Judicial/Crime Branch probe into Kunduli Gang Rape

Insight Bureau:  A day after ADG Mahendra Pratap submitted his report to the OHRC based on the medical report provided by the Doctor that there was no evidence of Kunduli gangrape as claimed by the minor girl, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday ordered for a judicial probe along with the Crime Branch probe into the incident.

Reportedly, the judicial inquiry will be conducted as per the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 and the probe will be conducted by a district judge.
