Odisha CM visits Puri Jagannath Temple, reviews Jagamohan Repair

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited Jagannath Temple in Puri and reviewed the situation of Jagamohan repair. He went inside the temple and assessed the cracks that have emerged on the beams.

Patnaik said that he had a telephonic conversation with the Prime Minister yesterday regarding the early repair of Jagamohan.

The Union culture secretary and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) director general (DG) will visit Puri on May 20 and will study the situation, he added.

He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured him to take necessary steps for the repairing of Jagamohan.
