Odisha Congress kicks off 2nd Phase ‘Jagaran Yatra’ in Nuapada

Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) launched its second phase Jagaran Yatra in Naupada district on Friday and the rally will be organized in Nabarangpur district on Oct 31.

As per reports, the second phase of pada yatra of OPCC was started from Barpadar village in Naupada district.

OPCC President Prasad Kumar Harichandan led the party workers in the rally at the village. They met the family members of farmer late Bhubaneswar Behera, who ended his life following crop loss.  Harichandan lamented over the farmers suicide in the Odisha. He alleged that the state government failed to safeguard the interest of farmers in the state.

He will address gathering at Jungenpadar village on Friday where the rally will be concluded. As per a statement issued by the party here, the rally will be organized in Nabarangpur district on Saturday. And, the party will organize the rally in 10 phases across the state to highlight the failures of the state and central governments.
