Odisha DQ Row: CDA sends 167 Files to Vigilance Department

CDA-CuttackAs per the government directive, the Cuttack Development Association (CDA) has sent the files of 167 illegal land allottees to the Vigilance Department to look into the irregularities in the allotment of houses and plots under Discretionary Quota (DQ).

Show cause Notices have been sent to 30 allottees, who have availed more than one house/flat under discretionary quota. They have been asked to reply within 30 days why their allotments won’t be cancelled. The above information was given by CDA Chairman Pratap Das.

The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) is hopeful of completing the first phase of issuing notices to the allottees by June 30. Show cause notices will be issued to 934 such people who have sold their DQ plots and houses to third parties.
