Odisha Govt hikes Grant-in-Aid for Teachers, Staff by 13.36 %

In a major development, the State Government has hiked the grant-in-aid assistance for teachers and staff of eligible schools by 13.36 per cent, announced by the School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra on Saturday.

With this move, over 31,000 teachers and as many as staff of 3,701 schools across Odisha will be benefitted, said the Education Minister.

The hiked amount will be deposited in the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) of the teachers and staff.
