Odisha PAC Chairman asks Chief Secy to appear on Nov 19

Bhubaneswar, Nov 10: The meeting of Odisha Public Accounts Committee (PAC) was cancelled on Monday following absence of top officials.

Taking serious note over the absence of official in PAC meeting of the Assembly, PAC Chairman and Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra directed the Chief Secretary to appear before the committee on November 19.

It is noteworthy that, scheduled meeting of PAC of Odisha Assembly was called off following top officials absence on Monday.

As per reports, the Committee had asked the Secretaries of Water Resources and Energy Departments and Bolangir Collector to be present the meeting on Monday. But the officials reportedly failed to attend the meeting.

Over the incident, Narasingha Mishra directed the Chief Secretary G C Pati to appear before the committee on November 19.
