Odisha team to attend Global Investment Meet at US

High level team from Government of Odisha led by Hon’ble Industries minister Sri Debi Prasad Mishra, Minister Industries, School & Mass Education will attend the Global Investment Meet at Silicon Valley, USA from 4th to 7th May, 2016.

Sri Pradeep Kumar Jena, Principal Secretary, IT & Water Resources, Sri Sanjiv Chopra, Principal Secretary, Industries-cum-CMD, IDCO; Sri Sanjay Singh, MD,IDCO; officials from OCAC & some entrepreneurs of Odisha from different associations are part of the team.

The team will attend various business to business meeting and the Global Meeting of Entrepreneurs Policy Makers & Investor at Silicon Valley. Besides attending the inaugural meet on 4th, in which discussion will be held on Global

Entrepreneurship Trends, Government’s role in promoting technology entrepreneurship. The team will visit to Face Book Headquarters, Plug and Play Incubator, Stanford University Incubator. They will discuss and take input regarding policies for Start-up on 5th.

Minister Sri Mishra will also interact with Odias on occasion of Biju Patnaik Centenary celebration at Santa Clara convention Centre, Sanfransicso, USA and discuss about Biju Babu and development of Odisha. On 6th & 7th May they will present Odisha on Destination India Track and discuss in different panels on industry, Electronic System Designing and manufacturing etc.
