A traffic cop in Cuttack, Odisha has earned praises after a video showing him cleaning the road went viral. The cop has been identified as Havildar Lalit Rout.

Lalit Rout is seen cleaning the rubble on the road to ensure smooth passage of vehicles. and possible accidents.

As per reports, on noticing the rubble, Rout got a broom from a nearby house and started sweeping the road himself.

His act garnered praises on social media as people hailed him for his ‘kind act.’
