Odisha wakes up to Dangers of Maggi 2 Minute Noodles

Although they took little longer as compared to other states, the Odisha Government has finally woken up and sent the samples of Maggi 2 Minute Noodles to a laboratory in Pune. Any action will be taken on the basis of reports received, said Health Secretary Arti Ahuja.

The Health Secretary confirmed that they have received complaints against the Maggi Noodles and are aware of the situation. Action may be taken against the erring officials, who are in charge of Maggi in Odisha.

The Kerala Government has already banned Maggi, while Delhi Government is all set to ban it today, as all reports came negative against the product. The Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal governments have already taken action against the Maggi Noodles after excessive lead found in the test results.

In Bihar, a court has sought FIR against the Brand Ambassadors of Maggi for endorsing the product. They include Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta. Maggi is a famous brand of Nestle.
