Pahala Land Fraud: Odisha CB Officials arrest Noida-based Realtor

Bhubneswar, Nov 17: The Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of Odisha Crime Branch arrested  Noida-based realtor in Noida in connection with Pahala land fraud case on Monday.

As per reports, Odisha Crime Branch sleuths have arrested Rahul Gaur, Chairman and managing director of Brys Group in Noida in land fraud case. On October 30, Saranpal Singh Sethy, a real estate developer in Delhi, lodged a complaint against Rahul Gaur for selling him 3.5 acres of disputed land near Pahal in Bhubaneswar for Rs. 18 crore.

Following the complaint, a three member team of Odisha Crime Branch arrested Gaur on Monday with the help of local police in Noida. He will be deposed for a court on Tuesday for transit remand. From there, he will be taken to Bhubaneswar.
