Pipili Verdict: BJP Mahila Morcha clash with cops; held midway to Naveen Niwas

ONI Bureau:  Members of BJP Mahila Morcha on Tuesday staged protest against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s silence over Minister Pradeep Maharathy’s comments on Pipili Gang Rape & murder verdict. They sought resignation of Agriculture Minister from his post.

The activists detained after scuffle broke out between the activists and police personnel while they were on their way to gherao Naveen Niwas today.

The activists slammed the Naveen government for keeping mum, said the Chief Minister should break his silence on the issue.

Earlier on Monday BJP women activists gheraoed the Crime Branch (CB) office in Cuttack over failure of investigating agency on Pipili Gang Rape & murder case.
