Pradeep Sethy claims OTV took Rs 5.50 crore from AT

Arthwa Tatwa (AT) Group chief Pradeep Sethy, who is the prime accused in the multi-crore chit fund scam, has brought sensational allegations against Odisha’s leading TV channel, OTV. Sethy claimed that OTV had taken Rs 5.50 crore from him for several promotional events.

Sethy wondered why the CBI has not brought the OTV under the ambit of its investigation even though he had given all details to the investigating agency long ago. The latest development has put the ruling party and its Lok Sabha MP Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda in a tight spot.

While Zee Kalinga, Kanak TV and Focus TV have raised this issue on their TV channels, the OTV has dismissed all allegations and said that it took all money from the AT Group only towards advertisements like all other media houses. There was complete transparency on this, the channel clarified and added that it was OTV, which took the lead against the AT Group when the chit fund scam came into light.
