Prisita Preetam’s Aadhar-Linked Dustbin wins Award at Indian Science Congress

ONI Bureau: Prisita Preetam, a student of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur in Bhubaneswar bagged the Best Participant award for her innovative project on ‘Aadhar-linked Dustbin’, an idea behind Digital India and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

As per the sources, the dustbin uses a sensor to detect disposal of waste. Once the fingerprints match successfully, the person disposing waste will get reward points.

Prisita received the award at the National Meet of 105th Session of Indian Science Congress held in Imphal, Manipur form 16-20th March, 2018.
