Rice-Wheat ratio to be 85:15 from June for Odisha

The Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met the Union Food Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Wednesday to discuss the issues of rice and wheat allocation to Odisha.

Mr. Paswan criticised state government for politicising rice issue. He said to media person that allocation of rice to the state will not reduced.

There are same demands from other states but the case of Odisha is different because Odisha is a rice producing state. Further he said that rice-wheat ratio for Odisha will be 85: 15 per cent instead of 79:21 from June.

PNG Minister said that the BJD Government confusing the people. Rice will be supplied to the state as per the demand.
