Sambit Patra to lead Rath Yatra at Rohini Jagannath Temple in Delhi

The annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath will be organized by Sri Jagannath Rohini Sewa Sangha (Regd.) at SHRI JAGANNATH TEMPLE, Sector-24, Rohini, New Delhi on Wednesday, 6th July 2016.

Chhera Pahara (sweeping of Holy Rath with Golden Broom) will be performed by Dr. Sambit Patra, National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Mr. G.S. Pattnaik, Ex-Vice Chairman of DDA, Mr. Vijender Gupta, MLA of BJP, Mr. Devinder Solanki, Mr. V P Pandey, and Mr. Anil Gupta, CMD, KEI Industries Limited among other personalities will be present on the occasion.

Mr. Paban Jain, Mr. Manas Mohanty, Mr. Dilip Mohanty, Mr. Rakesh Gupta, Mr. Ashok Roul, Mr. Upendra Biswal, etc from Sri Jagannath Rohini Sewa Sangha (Regd.) will be present on the occasion.

The day long ceremonial events will be started from 10:00 am onwards with Lord Jagannath Bhajans by Mrs. Anindita Das, Mrs. Shikha Kabi Miss Kaveri Behera.

The Rath Yatra will start from 04:00 pm and passed through various parts of Sector-24, Rohini and concluded at the same temple at 08.00 pm. The function was expected to attended by more than 10000 devotes from various parts of Delhi. During the Rath Yatra wide arrangements will be made by the devotees and local residents of Sector-24, Rohini at various places with serving cold drinks, fruits and snacks etc.
