Senior BJP leaders of Odisha to meet Amit Shah today

Senior BJP leaders of Odisha are scheduled to meet the party’s National President Amit Shah today to work out the strategy for the state unit for future road map of the party.

Among others, the focus of the meeting, however, will be the approach of the party towards ruling party BJD in Odisha.

While the state unit leaders have been criticizing the state Govt on different grounds, the leaders at national level are taking soft approach towards Naveen Patnaik Govt on various scams and governance.

Earlier, the top leaders of the state unit had a Chintan Baithak (brainstorming session) to work out the blueprint of the strategy till the run up to 2019 polls.

In 2014 general election, BJP could win only one out of 21 Lok Sabha seats and managed to garner only 10 assembly seats out of 147.
