UCCI to organize 3rd National Level Exhibition-cum-Seminar
The 3rd National Level Exhibition-cum-Seminar showcasing Odisha’s growth of Industries, trade, and commerce organized by Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industries (UCCI) in partnership with the MSME Department of Govt of Odisha is going to kick start on March 1, 2015 at the Exhibition Ground in Unit-3 of the capital city of Bhubaneswar and will continue till March 5, 2015.
Focused on country’s economic growth potential combined with existing and future contributions from the eastern state of Odisha in realizing the potential, this UCCI Expo will go a long way to address the known but untapped possibilities in the State and attempt to unearth new insights into issue of relevance.
The primary objective of UCCI for organizing this mega event is to provide an effective platform to member Companies & other Corporate entities, Banks & other financial institutions, Central & State PSUs and other non-Government organization to showcase their products, services consumers, large trading houses, multinational corporations, investors, commercial banks and other institutions and a host of service providers are going to participate in this focused extravaganza with the objective of propelling the growth trajectory of the State by harmoniously and seamlessly weaving the important sectors in Industry, trade and commerce.
The event will make the visitors feel about the focus of UCCI that envisages creating and promoting new entrepreneurs, providing hand-holding support to start-ups, CSR initiatives, and development of MSME sector, strengthening rural-urban linkage and improvement in infrastructure.
UCCI which was overwhelmed by the extraordinary response from participants and sponsors is confident about the takeaways this annual efforts to its members as well as to the expectant entrepreneurs from the state realms of industry, trade and commerce.
UCCI established in January, 1964 has broadened its focus to empower and enrich the cause of industrial and commercial enterprises of the state through participation with the Government and other bodies in formulating policies and take care of their interests.
Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Ind. Charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Sri Dharmendra Pradhan has given his kind consent to inaugurate the event at 6 pm on March 01, 2015 in the precincts of IDCO Exhibition. Sri U N Behera, IAS, Development Commissioner, Govt of Odisha, Sri Vishal, IAS, CMD, IDCO, Sri Anshuman Das, CDM, NALCO and SRi Rajiv Kumar, Vice President Operation – KPP, Tata Steel will be among the dignitaries likely to grace the occasion as honourable guests.
Sri Jual Oram, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs has also given his kind consent to be the Chief Guest of the Valedictory Ceremony on March 05, 2015 at 6.00 pm in the same venue, IDCO Exhibition Ground. Sri Devi Prasad Misra, Honorary Minister for industries, school and Mass Education, Sri G. C. Pati, IAS, Chief Secretary, Govt of Odisha and Sri Panchanan Das, ISS, Secretary, MSME, Govt, of Odisha shall grace the valedictory function as Guests of Honour.
