Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan slams Odisha Government

Bhubaneswar, Sep 4: Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attacked the Naveen Government over the cribs death at Sishu Bhawan in Cuttack and ongoing Kalahandi medical college stir.

While addressing a press conference here, Pradhan slammed Odisha government for sending back the medical team from Sishu Bhawan and termed the move as ‘embarrassing’. He also urged the state government to reconsider the issue.

Over the issue of Sardar Rajas Medical College and Hospital in Kalahandi, Pradhan said that state government was responsible for the withdrawal of the MBBS seats at the medical college since it was a state-sponsored medical college. The Medical Council of India had done its duty, he added.
