Veteran Ollywood actress Anita Das passes away

ONI Bureau: Veteran Ollywood and television serial actress Anita Das breathed her last following a cardiac arrest at her residence in Cuttack on Friday. She was 57.  

She had made her feature film debut with ‘Jajaar’ in 1975 and has acted in over 100 films including Krishna Sudama, Ramayan, Maa-O-Mamata, Swapna Sagara, Pua Mora Kala Thakura, Gadhi Janile Ghara Sundara, Bahudibe Mo Jaga Balia, Sathire, Om Shanti Om, Aama Bhitare Kichhi Achhi, Shapath and Abhay.

She will be remembered for her well known characters in ‘Pua Mora Kala Thakuara’, ‘Ki Heba Sua Poshile’, ‘Bahudibe Mo Jaga Balia’, ‘Maa Mamata’ and many more.
