Vigilance raids Motilal Gouda’s House, Clinics

A team consisting seven officials of Vigilance department conducted a raid at the residence of Dr Motilal Gouda at Chandipur, under Mohana block in Gajapati district, on Saturday.

The vigilance officials also raided the clinics located in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Talcher.

Gouda has been accused of issuing fake Gazette notification ordering engagement of five private labs for employee’s health check-up in factories and industries. He even managed to sign a contract worth Rs 63 lakh with NALCO, a Navartana PSU company by issuing fake notification of health checkup for NALCO’s staff at his pathology laboratory.

He was in the process of signing another contract of Rs. 1.02 crore, but unfortunately his game was over and caught red handed.
