World Tourism Day: State Launches ‘Odisha By Road’ Campaign
On the occasion of ‘World Tourism Day,’ the tourism department launched the ‘Odisha by Road’ campaign through Kalinga Rides – Superbike Rally.’ The campaign encourages tourists from Odisha and elsewhere to unravel the state attractions through the roads.
A bike rally was organised to commemorate the occasion. It was flagged off from Infocity square and culminated at Dhauli Shanti Stupa.
Besides, ‘Odisha by Road’ campaign, the State tourism department also announced the launch of ‘Nimantran’ restaurants. The chain of restaurants by OTDC will promote Odia cuisines. The restaurants will be launched at Bhubaneswar, Puri and Sambalpur in the initial phase.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik released a message on the occasion of World Tourism Day and highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by the state government to promote tourism.
