India take unassailable 2-0 lead in T20 Series against West Indies

ONI Bureau: Rohit Sharma became the first player in T20 history to score 4 hundreds, as India thrashed the West Indies by 71 runs in the second T20 in Lucknow to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series with one match to go.

Earlier, India posted 195/2 in 20 overs. Rohit Sharma remained unbeaten on 111 off 61 balls with 8 boundaries and 7 sixes. Shikhar Dhawan scored 43. Lokesh Rahul remained not out on 26.

West Indies batsmen failed yet again before the Indian bowling attack. They finished at 124/9 in 20 overs and lost the match by 71 runs. Darren Bravo (23) and Keemo Paul (20) were the top contributors. For India,
Bhuvneshwar Kumar , K Khaleel Ahmed, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets each.

Rohit Sharma was declared ‘Player of the Match’.
