CSL posted 209/4 in 20 overs while batting first. Apart from McCullum, Dwayne Smith (27) and MS Dhoni (53) were the other top contributors. Out of the four wickets that fell for CSK, three got ran out.
Sunrisers Hyderabad looked nervous while chasing the target and kept losing wickets and saw the lone hope in David Warner. With Warner falling for 53, they lost the control over the match. They finished at 164/6 in 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan (26), Ravi Bopara (22) and Kane Williamson (26*) were the other top contributors. Mohit Sharma took two wickets for CSK. McCullum was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
