Odisha Youth from Balasore dies of Dengue in New Delhi

Another Odia becomes the latest victim of Dengue in New Delhi. Santanu Kumar Behera, a resident of Soro in Balasore district, died of the killer disease. He was working with a garment company in Badli village in Delhi.

Santanu was earlier rushed to Bharat Hospital in Raj Nagar where he tested positive for dengue. As his condition deteriorated after eight days, the hospital refused further help and he was shifted to Hindu Rao Hospital where he breathed his last.

Santanu’s father and brother had died last year. His widowed mother has been working as a Maid at various hostels of Soro College. Santanu had recently visited on August 16.
