Gas Cylinder explodes in Bhubaneswar; one killed, three injured

Bhubaneswar, Dec 30: One killed, three other sustained serious burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion at a residence (2RB (F)4) at OUAT colony here on Wednesday noon.

As per reports, a woman was killed while three other injured in the incident. Wife of Chandramani Nayak, an employee in Agriculture University, was killed, while he, his son-in-law and a neighbour were sustained serious burn injuries in the blast.

Nayak’s daughter and mother, those were in other rooms in the same house during accident, escaped the accident narrowly. Fire officials reach the house and rescued Nayak and his son-in-law, while his wife died at spot after the explosion.
