Krushak Bikash Parishad observes 12-hour Birmaharajpur Bandh today

The Krushak Bikash Parishad is observing a 12-hour bandh at Birmaharajpur in Subarnapur district today demanding the non-payment of input subsidy and crop insurance dues to farmers who had suffered crop loss in last year’s drought.

The parishad is also demanding to cancel the collection of water tax by the government.

Normal life in Subarnapur district has been disrupted following 12-hour bandh today.

All educational institutions, government as well as non-government  offices, shops and other business establishments remained closed. Commuters have found lots of difficulties as almost-all Vehicles are remained off the roads due to the bandh.
