Medical Colleges Contractual Professors’ salary hiked in Odisha

ONI Bureau: The Odisha Government on Tuesday announced a hike in remuneration of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors working on contractual basis in State Government-run medical colleges of the State.

The salaries of professors increased from Rs 90,000 to Rs 1.25 lakh, Rs 75,000 to Rs 1 lakh for Associate Professors and Rs 60,000 to Rs 75,000 for Assistant Professors and that will be effective from January 1, 2018 onwards, informed Health and Family Welfare Minister Pratap Jena.
