Odisha Weightlifter Ghasiram fails dope test

ONI Bureau: After Ghasiram’s urine tested positive for dope, the Indian Weightlifting Federation (IWF) suspended and fined Odia weightlifter Ghasiram Khara provisionally, informed Odisha Weightlifting Association Secretary Narayan Sahu.

The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) conducted dope tests a few days after he won three silver medals at the Sub Junior Weightlifting Championship.

Ghasi Ram Khara of Koraput, was nabbed by NADA for taking stamina enhancer drug substances.
