Odisha to provide free transport & accommodation to NEET, JEE aspirants: Know how to avail facility

The Odisha Government will provide free transport and accommodation to the aspirants of NEET and JEE exams. Around 37,000 students will appear in the examination.

“The government will provide buses to ferry candidates from their home town to the examination venues. But the students will have to apply by August 31.”

The students will be provided with free accommodation at polytechnic institutes, engineering colleges and ITIs.

While the JEE (Mains) examination will be held between September 1 and 6, NEET entrance exam will be held on September 13.

Earlier, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had written to Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to postpone the entrance examinations. Chief Minister Patnaik had also spoken to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard.
